Not sure it you will have seen this but it is worth seeing again if you haven't. We are invisible, frequently invisible and there are good reasons why unfortunately. Have a read, it is interesting enough, but more importantly tell people how badly we humans look at stuff!
Oh and if you don't do it already it puts a little science behind the obvious "make yourself seen" choices.

Am guessing some of you will have seen this, and some of you not but it is probably worth another look anyway.

Spread this as it includes advice on how to avoid missing stuff right in front of you... And maybe why they can miss us on the bike...

I was given a #Zippo Handwarmer on Christmas day. Not unusual to be given a gift, granted, but it is a slightly amazing thing...
Fill it with lighter fluid, according to the instructions, which basically means full to brimming for the first fill, then light.
On the box and in the instructions it claims "up to 12 hours" of hand warming.
32 (yes, thirty two) hours later IT'S STILL GOING! And it is working well, pleasingly warm all the time, almost too warm when trapped in a jeans pocket. It is bloody amazing, that's what it is! It's easy to see why the design of catalytic hand warmers hasn't really changed in nigh on a hundred years, they are simply brilliant as they are.
Now my only concern is whether it will go out before tomorrow so I can refill it for a walk. Hope I remember to not brim it next time I use it as well.
Already considering getting another for my other half as they are pretty cheap if you shop around...

Nicola Auton and daughters started project Gingerbread House on Sunday. Eldest (2 & 3/4 years old) daughter and I finished it on Monday.
I think we did pretty well considering our relative lack of experience... 1st time for us all :-)
Merry Christmas to you all!

President Obama ordered the cabinet to cut $100,000,000.00 ($100 million) from the $3,500,000,000,000.00 ($3.5 trillion) federal budget.
I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2,000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc., but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back.
I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio (1/35,000) of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2,000 a month, I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents. Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about.
I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries – six cents worth.
Did this President actually think no one would do the math? Please send this to everyone on your list so people understand how idiotic a $100 million cut is in a $3.5 trillion budget – ludicrous
