Ingredients for a pretty perfect day.
Ingredients for a pretty perfect day.
Get up early, because you want to, kids are still happily sleep.
Get to destination in unexpectedly clement weather.
Take an easy stroll through some beautiful and striking scenery.
Have a snack.
Find a geocache.
Stroll back to the campervan, alternately chatting, listening to the sound of nothing but footsteps and nature and marvelling at the kids fitness and interest in their world.
Fire up the heater in the campervan for heat.
Put the kettle on for tea and hot chocolate.
Put a pan on for hot dogs.
Fire up the wood gasification stove for marshmallow roasting.
Eat and drink.
Visit elderly relatives.
Watch a starling murmuration.
Home for tea, throw the kids in a deep, hot bath and...
Relax.
Today was a good day!
Now to look at the pictures that aren't on my phone :-)
