Riding buddy at Ruthin CRC marathon being taken to hospital after knocking himself out. Am hoping we can have a laugh about is 10 speed chain snapping (apparently the cause of the crash) when he gets back and it is no more than that.
Good cut on his chin apparently so maybe a scar to go with it as well to remember it by.
Ouch sounds painful, mind you he might have been doing a cunning plan to bail out of it. It's been a bit damp all week, expect the usual squidgy spots to be pretty well churned up tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteFallen out with his wife over getting the ambulance to drop him off before going to hospital so he is probably ok :-) He is fitter and faster than ever and finished Kielder so would have been up for it. I expect the next fight will be about coming home or riding tomorrow :-)
ReplyDeleteTwo cuts to the face glued, too tricky to stich according to the facial surgeon and stitches in his knee. Reasonably well bust up then by the sounds of things.
