I might have found you a place near-ish Nether Edge. A mates brother is advertising on Gumtree and mentioned it on Facebook a couple of times. Couldn't remember who it was first time but caught it this time.
Asked him if a 6 month lease would be ok, but he hasn't got back to me yet. In the meantime, here is the Gumtree ad.

Thanks for that. I have sent a message through Gumtree. Yes, Hunters Bar, Sharrow Vale, Endcliffe Park, Banner Cross are all great too. Overall the pricing seems very reasonable compared to Hong Kong.
