Just set off the iRobot Roomba 530 that we have ended up with (previous owners thought it had a duff battery, bought a new one but it was no better). Am hoping that it just needed a reset and a proper charge to get working properly again, seems to have managed 5 minutes of exploring ok so far so I guess we will just have to see how it goes.

It is somewhat mesmerising to watch I have to say...

  3. The room is somewhat large/long. About 8 meters long and 4 wide at the widest but with part walls and furniture it is an odd shape. I had also turned off the base station to make sure it kept going, wanted to see if it was fixed, it seems to be :-)
