Had a "hangout" with my brother, Tim Auton this evening.

Had a "hangout" with my brother, Tim Auton this evening. For a while I have been convinced I am living in the future, but just talking rubbish with him in the room, when he wasn't really, was cool. And definitely a future thing, not a past thing :-)

    It was fun and worked remarkably well. I just checked and my phone will "ring" when I get a Hangout request even when the app isn't running, which is pretty cool.

    Even better is on a desktop, you can add a clown nose and as the festive season comes ever closer, some reindeer horns.

    Now, that actually is quite tempting in a bizzare way Ho Liu but we both have better cameras in our mobile devices than our laptops. A tablet version of the app with the option for all the essential extra YouTube and overlay bells and whistles would be nice. I am of course assuming screen space is the restriction, not processing power.
