Ok, so the funny crackling sounds, whining and squeaking accompanied by the smell of Scalextric and cooked capacitor would seem to suggest that the telly is no more, it is an ex-TV.

Question is, is 9 years old a good age for a massive plasma screen? Because that's how old it is... #dontfeelrobbed

    Although expect electrical goods should last forever.

    The cynic in me says every day after the warranty runs out is a bonus.
