There is more than one picture if you mean the slightly under cooked view :-) Not sure if those on the wrong side of the Atlantic would call them pancakes...
Scones (I did take notice of your usage of 'drop') here in the States tend to be more akin to soda bread, dry, flaky, and available both savory and sweet.
Pancake batter here tends to smooth and pourable, whereas scone batter is more coarse and dry.
They were delicious Travis they come somewhere between the two. Pretty pourable, but a little bit of bicarb for the rise, the banana just makes it tasty and moist.
Is that what you call it.....
