Been up and down a bit ahead of schedule so looking OK so far. No injuries or incidents thankfully. Phone is in the front charging so will try and phone if we stop or when we get there.
Love you, hope your day is OK, looks like you have the same weather as us anyway :-) xxx x x
At mum's now, so phone reception not good. So if you ring, ring their house or use google to message. What time do you start the next climb? X
ReplyDeleteIf traffic is OK we should get there about 7-8 o'clock, you going home? Will probably message first to make sure I don't disturb the little ones. X
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm going home but not sure when. Eating at 5, will then bath and see. Will let you know. Saw the pic on Facebook. Everyone in good spirits? You got any more sleep yet?
ReplyDeleteMaybe had an hour total, not a rowdy bus, an uncomfy bus. everyone is pretty up for it still though. Will need some kip before the last though. It was bloody windy and cold on top of that hill! Last 4-500 meters was snowbound which held things up a little but good otherwise. Am sure Dave will say it a well when we get back but for miles and miles we drove through the most beautiful scenery. Never been here before but we will have to come back sometime, it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove you xxx x x
Well if we don't do France we could always do there. I'm shattered and have a bad headache but it's been nice to get out of the house. Still no poo from Boo, but have a feeling it's getting closer, wish it would just happen. X P.s you never mentioned your flapJack or Tiffin.. is it that bad. If so I blame the sous chefs, you just can't get the staff.
ReplyDeleteLol, didn't hear your last message arrive, was just about to get another bit of tiffin and thought, "ooooo, haven't mentioned the tiffin or flapjack yet!" So here I am, mentioning them, both hitting the spot thanks nutrition team :-)
ReplyDeleteHate to tell you now but there was no real science involved, just the more calories and taste the better. We're about to eat some jacket potatoes. Have you seen you dad finally sent some pictures, not looked yet because my phone doesn't have masses of battery left. And it'll give me something to do once kid's are in bed, hope you noticed I'm planning on that happening tonight. I need sleep and my boobs need a rest. Did you keep up ok or were you the weak link? X
ReplyDelete:-( bad mum alert. Girls both had cream and hats on, but Lily has one burnt arm. Am 95% sure I did both arms but now I'm doubting myself. Think it must have happened in the car on the way back. Feel awful. :-( try to do the right thing and get it wrong. She has some lotion on now and not bathing incase it hurts her. God, I feel bad. Poor little red mite. It's not burnt burnt, or blistered so clearly it could have been worse but still. :-(
ReplyDeleteCramming that many calories into that small a space IS science! :-) kept up pretty well but am very close to the weak link if I am not it. Not particularly waiting for me but o certainly wasn't seeing the pace.
ReplyDeleteSounds like they have had a lovely day in the sun and if you hadn't put anything on they would have really burned so you must have done. No real damage done, just a bit unlucky....
Good luck for the evening and night, looks like we might be there by 7 which will be handy...
Love you xxx
False alarm, there for about 8
ReplyDeleteWe're just putting pj's on and trying to persuade Boo to poo, not happening tho. So prob won't be able to phone. Nice evening for a walk tho. X
ReplyDeleteDave just let mum know you'll be starting soon. I'm going to turn my phone to silent when I go to bed but message me anyway and when I'm inevitably woken up I will see it. Let me know when you set off. X
ReplyDeleteBetter night but still pretty bad. Both girls awake when we got back from mums, em wouldn't settle, lily wouldn't go down. After an hour I put them both in bed with me and put qualifying on. 50 mins later pops gave in. Her and boo have been winding each other up, as soon as she went, boo basically followed. Both woke a couple of times in the night. And boo had us up at 5, managed to get pops back down, and em is now watching some Scottish animals on iplayer. How was scarfell? What time do you get to Snowdon? Any idea what time you'll be back home? Think I'm just going to get paddling pool out for girls. Will have to go on patio though. Someone left a tree on the lawn. :-) x
ReplyDeleteJust got to the top of Snowdon 6.35, should get down in good time and then it's just down to the journey back, should be good and early afternoon with any luck. Might be a food stop, but still not late, love you xxx x x
ReplyDeleteOh, that's good. Most of the hard work done. Hope you are not back too late. Boo's been asking for you. X

ReplyDeleteOk, Jess hurt her knee but still on to finish by 9.23 with a bit spare as long as we get no more mishaps, love you and really missing you all xxx x x
ReplyDeleteBugger. She has my sympathy. Knee's are painful. Has she just twisted it? Hope it's nothing too serious. Off for my shower now.
ReplyDeleteIt's 9.35 so hoping you are finished. Made the decision not to play out this morning, think we all had a lot of Sun yesterday. When you get back you can help me fill the paddling pool and cover it, will be easier with your two working legs. They can paddle we can shred. X
ReplyDeleteWe finished with 18 minutes to spare but we paced ourselves down, car park is busy but hoping bank holiday traffic won't be bad on the Sunday. Be good to get the tree sorted. Daveis ok too author also knackered :-) love you xxx x x
ReplyDeleteWell done. Hurry back. Lily seems a bit off it, sunny nose and clingy. Boo needs a poo. I need help. X
ReplyDeleteOn our way xxx
ReplyDeleteAny idea what time you'll be back?
