Well the photographer didn't catch it but if you look in the bottom left of the non-marshmallow shot, you might spot the sieve? Turns out, if you find a slightly sheltered cave, you can not only so some standard marshmallow roasting but freshly popped popcorn in temperatures hovering around zero degrees C.
Was going to pop a link to the stove, a wood gassification stove that uses a fan to enhance and accelerate the process, making for a speedy and efficient burn. The site has been taken over and nowhere seems to sell it any more. Never mind, it was a great way to start the year :-)
