Today I made chilli, with extra veg after tasting a nice one elsewhere. I made a baked cheesecake (raspberry in case you are interested) that turned out rather well too. Whilst making these I was snacking on the soda bread I made yesterday (a little overdone, but still tasty) and chatting to my beautiful daughter. We then took Nic's grandad to the Anston butterfly place for the day. Got back, served the aforementioned food to several members of our family and then went out with two of them for a couple of hours mountain biking, at night, in the cold and mud. I have ridden better but loved it all the same.
Why type all that? Some days I realise how lucky I am. Today was one of those days. I love my family, daughter, wife and life.
It isn't perfect, but it's all mine :-)
