First utterly un-scientific turbo session, film on laptop, forgot a drink though... might grab that as it is getting warm in the garage but too noisy to open a door at this time!
Drink was next to me, this is a bloody hard way to spend 20 minutes! Wonder how long I should stay, or how high I should keep my heart rate, or how much I should make my legs burn... feel another few minutes pain coming on...
Right, that was a long hour or so, not sure trying to work out heart rate/training zone things whilst watching a film, whilst on the turbo is the most effective, but it must be time efficient mustn't it? :-) Seems I spent most of the time above 60% of max heart rate with a bit of 2 minutes on, 2 minutes off trying harder, about 75%. Might start with a plan next time but felt like a good way to get tired burney thighs quickly :-)
look up Spinervals they are a bit cheesy but they are turbo training DVD's (if you look hard enough you find them on the web ;-)) did a few when my hand was injured. Make the time go quite quick
